Ravenna House is a substantial Victorian three storey detached house. The property is well maintained and offers spacious accommodation and a large attractive garden for recreational purposes. The home offers accommodation for six young people of either sex between the ages of 13-17 years. Each young person has his or her own room, which is spacious and equipped with washing facilities.
Ravenna House has fourteen rooms in all, offering individual and communal recreation, quiet and meeting rooms for the use of all service users. This includes family contact, assessment, professional meetings and training facilities for staff and young people. The home has recently been refurbished to a high standard.
In addition to the individual accommodation Ravenna House offers a well-equipped kitchen, three bathrooms, separate laundry room and a large garden suitable for young people to use for hobbies and recreation.
The third floor is self-contained and is used for administration purposes and has two sleeping in rooms. One is used for the member of staff on sleeping in duty, the other is available should an extra staff member be necessary for back up.
The home provides both short and long term full-time care and accommodation for vulnerable young people who for various reasons are unable to live with their own families or foster carers.
Location
From the A27 take the A259 into Bognor Regis, Hotham Way. At the roundabout take the second turning right onto the B2166 High Street. This will take you past the Butlins Holiday Campus. Follow the road along the seafront onto Aldwick Road. Proceed straight across the traffic lights and past the shops. Take the second turning right onto Richmond Avenue West. Ravenna House is situated on the corner on the right hand side.
