Religious and Cultural Contact
Southern Care, acknowledge and respect the need for young people to maintain religious and cultural contact and will actively promote this. Specific dietary and clothing requests will be adhered to in relation to a young person's religious and cultural beliefs.

- All specific needs is respect of a young person's religious and cultural background and needs will be recorded at his or her planning meeting in order to help maintain individual identity
- Every endeavour will be made to allow a young person to practice his or her religion
- Southern Care seek to meet every young person's cultural need by providing a staff team who's makeup reflects the multicultural nature of today's society
